I AMAnybody can be a genius. Most people think a genius is someone that is super smart and nerdy, but that's wrong. According to Thomas Armstrong "Awakening Genius" There are many different kinds of geniuses. Everybody is different and has their own way of being a genius. A genius can be a genius by being playful. When children play it shows how they reinvent the world. Kids that build forts and pretend to be king and queens are playing out historical events. One quality that would make me a genius is curiosity. I've always been curious as a child, I would always ask questions about everything and anything. In school, I'm always wondering about why things are the way they are. So in class I'm forever asking questions about everything. I would always catch myself wondering about things. Such as how things were made, where certain things came from. My mother had told me a story of when I was younger how curious I was about everything. I would always want to be outside. I wanted to see what was out there and how it would feel to walk around and see new things. I would always just go to front porch and look without telling my mother that I was out there, while she would go crazy looking for me. After a while she knew where to find me. But one day , I was so curious that I figured I just walk around the neighborhood. My mother was showering and it was a hot summery day. I was about 3 years old and I opened the front door and crawled right out. I crawled for about 5 blocks until I reached the deli. My mother was going nuts trying to find me , until she got a knock on the door from one of our neighbors with me in her arms. She said "I think this belongs to you". Another quality would be imagination. I have a HUGE imagination. In school is when I use my imagination the most. Whenever there are projects, I'm always coming up with the most wonderful ideas. Ever since I was little I could remember making up stories, characters, and talking to myself pretending to be in a whole other world. I would draw and write books all the time. I once made a book called "The Rainbow World". I read it in front of my whole 5th grade class and my teacher loved it ! Also when I was younger my cousin and I would make little paper people and expand our imaginations with these crazy, mysterious, exciting made up stories. In one of the old houses I use to live in, had a huge backyard. There was a big wood fence separating my backyard and the woods. I would sometimes sneak in there without my mother knowing and pretend in was in the old times. I would be Indian Queen trying to solve a mystery.
